Job purpose:

 

You will be responsible for growing the Starbucks operations of a region, resulting in sales and brand growth, profit generation, and continuous process improvement as well as developing people and performance management.

 

Your challenges:

 

    • Ensure an excellent level of operations on the regional level by conducting monthly business reviews and acting as a role model for Operational Excellence. 
    • Spend approximately 60% of your time in the field, visiting stores and supporting local teams to ensure operational consistency, team engagement, and hands-on leadership.
    • Own regional finance performance, including sales targets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize results.
    • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, and development to meet brand and company needs. Ensure succession planning and take care of talent development in the region.
    • Execute core people processes in the region to build and maintain a team of A-players.
    • Support brand expansion within a region through finding and preparing new locations for CAPEX approval. Participate in SRM for the region and provide operational input into the store design process.
    • Manage and monitor projects to ensure timely delivery and budget compliance, adapt plans as needed to meet evolving business priorities.
    • Act as the Operations representative in cross-functional processes that impact the regional store environment.
    • Evaluate and communicate store-level impact to RST, ensuring smooth and effective implementation across locations.

 

Your skills & experience:

 

    • Strong legacy and experience in food/retail operations with strong problem-solving capabilities,

    • A strong track record of excellent performance delivering challenging KPIs or projects,

    • Good understanding of all the key drivers in a business P&L and how to affect them,

    • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a must,

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,

    • Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business partners,

    • Strong initiative, commitment, and orientation on improving processes,

    • Proactiveness and self-motivation in delivering high-quality results in an efficient manner, and under time pressure.
