Job Purpouse

The Global Enterprise Risk and Business Continuity Senior Specialist will be responsible for supporting stakeholders and managing the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity programs across the organization.  

This role will be executing tasks to ensure compliance with the Global Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity model at AmRest and supporting stakeholders with identification of the potential risks, developing strategies to mitigate those risks, and ensuring the organization can continue operations in the event of a disruption.  

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, business continuity planning, and crisis management. 

Job Responsabilities

Risk Assessments:  

  • Gather information for annual and quarterly risk assessments.
  • Support risk owners with developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
  • Develop and execute Business Impact Analysis and business continuity plans for all critical business functions across all markets and brands.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular BCP testing and training exercises.

 

Tool Management:  

  • Ensure the ERM&BCM tool is used effectively across all business areas. 
  • Support business users with daily usage of the system 
  • Develop materials for crisis simulations and training at corporate and market levels. 
  • Participate in projects requiring ERM&BCM input and collaborate with other departments. 

 

Deliverables/KPIs:

  • Risk assessment routine execution 
  • Documentation and framework availability 

The qualifications you need

  • University degree (MA/MSc) in Business Management or Engineering 
  • 4+ years of professional experience in risk management and business continuity functions 
  • Experience in risk consulting, preferably with a Big Four firm 
  • Leadership experience 
  • Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish 
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Power BI 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Experience with COSO methodology (advantageous)
  • Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders 
  • High ethical and business conduct standards 
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
