Job Purpose
Assists the Group Compliance Director with activities related to corporate compliance model implementation and monitoring, periodic compliance risk assessments and compliance/operational assessments. The role also tracks compliance with all applicable rules and laws, conducts Whistleblowing investigations and proactively participates in other Compliance projects.
Responsibilities
• Assist in developing and implementing the organization's annual compliance program and work plan.
• Conduct investigations to address cases reported through the Whistleblowing channel, prepare reports and help implement and monitor any required corrective action to mitigate risks.
• Preparing management reports to support decision making processes.
• Perform proactive monitoring / reviewing of potentially high-risk areas, prepare reports and help implement and monitor any action plans.
• Assist with conducting annual conflict of interest assessment and help implementing and managing the monitoring system.
• Provide subject matter expertise to the organization .
• Draft policies, procedures and other regulation required by the Compliance Function.
• Review and update of the Corporate Criminal Liability model.
• Support and participate in other projects of the Compliance Function.
• Proactively looks for functional best practices, spreads knowledge, experience, findings and provides constructive inputs to support the superior in creation and roll-out of the departmental strategy/agenda.
Requirements for Candidate
• University degree – preferably Business Management and or Law.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Compliance and risk Management functions, with experience in whistleblowing channel management and investigations.
• Exceptional in English and in Hungarian both written and spoken.
• Experience in Risk & Compliance consulting or Compliance and risks internal functions.
• Experience in Big Four will be an asset.
• Excellent MS Excel skills.
• Certifications in Compliance expertise will be an advantage.
• Orientation on improving processes and analytical skills.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of compliance principles and regulations,
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Assertiveness and stress resistance.
• Willingness and ability to learn and develop.
