DATA SCIENCE SPECIALIST

As Data Scientist, you will play a key role in designing data processes and data structures (e.g. data enrichment, CRM architecture) and delivering data based products (e.g. machine learning models, interactive reports, market simulations). Results of your work will be used to improve customer experience, make strategic decisions, streamline business processes and many other applications.

Responsibilities

• Designing solutions in the field of advanced analytics (ML, AI, NLP, etc.),
• Preparing reports and analysis based on available internal and external data,
• Searching for data-driven insights and inventing new ways of using data,
• Enriching and processing data in order to provide better data based solutions,
• Deploying data based solutions for production use,
• Presenting work outcomes to both technical and non-technical audience,
• Advising and educating other teams on the potential of using data.

Requirements for Candidate

• Professional or academic experience in quantitative field, e.g. Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Quantitative Economy,
• Good command of Python and SQL,
• Understanding of Data Science methods and proven experience in applying selected of them, e.g. segmentation, predictive analytics, A/B testing, classification modelling, recommendation systems, time series analysis, survey analysis, natural language processing,
• Practical knowledge of working with data, i.e. data extracting, data cleansing, data processing, exploratory data analysis, feature engineering,
• Ability to accurately and understandably communicate plans, taken action and outcomes to technical and non-technical audience,
• Business oriented approach (done is better than perfect, model profitability and scalability are as important as accuracy),
• Very good command of English both written and spoken (B2 level),
• Experience in Azure Databricks and/or Power BI will be an additional asset.
