As Data Scientist, you will support the Revenue Management team by transforming data into actionable insights. Your primary focus will be analyzing customer purchasing behavior, measuring price elasticity, optimizing menu, assessing promotion effectiveness and delivering data-driven recommendations that support pricing and commercial decisions. You will also contribute to building reliable data pipelines, analytical datasets, and reporting solutions that help improve pricing effectiveness and business performance.
Responsibilities
- Calculating and monitoring price elasticity across products and markets.
- Supporting revenue management decisions through data analysis and business insights.
- Preparing reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses based on internal and external data sources.
- Building and maintaining analytical datasets and automated data processes.
- Cleaning, transforming, and enriching data to ensure high-quality analyses.
- Identifying trends, opportunities, and risks related to pricing, revenue, and customer behavior
- Collaborating closely with Revenue Management and Commercial teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Presenting analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of pricing methodologies, analytical tools, and data quality.
Requirements for Candidate
- Professional or academic experience in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Good command of Python and SQL.
- Experience working with data, including data extraction, cleansing, transformation, exploratory analysis, and validation.
- Understanding of statistical methods and quantitative analysis, with the ability to interpret business outcomes from data.
- Interest in pricing, revenue management, commercial analytics, or customer behavior analysis.
- Familiarity with regression analysis, hypothesis testing, A/B testing, or other analytical techniques used to support business decision-making.
- Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Business-oriented mindset with a focus on generating actionable insights and measurable impact.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken (B2 level).
- Experience with Azure Databricks, Power BI, or other data visualization tools will be an additional asset.
