Responsibilities
- Develop frameworks to meet environmental expectations from EU institutions, franchisors, franchisees, landlords and global stakeholders,
- Lead environmental part of CSRD and EU taxonomy reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance at the country level,
- Maintain and update AmRest’s Environmental Policy and guidelines in alignment with external auditor and advisor recommendations,
- Drive the implementation of sustainable FM initiatives across local markets,
- Act as a project owner within the Environmental Pillar and serve as a subject matter expert in Social and Governance areas,
- Ensure global policies comprehensively cover key environmental areas such as waste management, energy, water, and pollution control,
- Track and evaluate market trends, legal developments, and innovations in environmental protection to inform strategy,
- Serve as a role model for high performance, driving strategic impact and continuous improvement.
Requirements for Candidate
- Minimum 4 years in environmental compliance, sustainability, or FM-related roles, preferably in a multinational QSR or retail environment,
- Deep understanding of ESG frameworks, CSRD, EU taxonomy, and environmental regulations,
- University degree - preferably in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field,
- Familiarity with sustainable FM practices and green technologies,
- Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities,
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional teams,
- Proficiency in English is a must,
- Proactive, innovative, and committed to environmental stewardship and continuous improvement.
