We are looking for an experienced Global IT Category Senior Buyer who will drive global sourcing strategies, manage strategic supplier partnerships, and contribute to key technology initiatives across the organization.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Own and develop the global IT procurement category across all AmRest markets, defining sourcing strategies and managing a diverse portfolio of products and services, including hardware and software for restaurants and offices, digital and e-commerce solutions, professional services, and enterprise licensing.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing, tendering, and supplier selection processes, manage relationships with global technology vendors, ensuring high service quality, commercial competitiveness, and contract compliance.
  • Deliver savings and efficiency targets through strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier consolidation, spend analysis, and cost optimization projects.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and identify opportunities for optimization and standardization across markets.
  • Prepare recommendations, business cases, and executive summaries to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring market and technology trends and identifying innovative solutions that bring value to the business and support future growth.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and category expert, sharing procurement best practices, market insights, and recommendations across the organization.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement within an international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IT procurement, including software, hardware, licensing, digital solutions, and professional services.
  • Proven experience in supplier negotiations, tender management, and contract management.
  • Fluent Polish and English, both written and spoken,
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment.
