As a System Global Product Owner, you will own and continuously enhance selected global accounting systems and processes within the Record to Report (RTR) stream. In this role, you will be responsible for standardizing and automating solutions across markets, ensuring global consistency and scalability, and enabling the high-quality of transactional services provided by local teams. You will proactively identify improvement and implement changes to support organization’s goals.  

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead in-depth analysis of R2R processes, with a strong focus on Fixed Assets (e.g. asset classes, useful life, naming convention standardization),  as well as General Ledger Close, Intercompany Accounting, Reporting,
  • Design and implement global accounting solutions based on standard processes, especially within SAP S/4HANA,
  • Act as Global SMI and Super User by participating in projects, ensuring the correctness of solutions, delivering end-user trainings, and maintaining documentation,
  • Drive and manage process and system changes, including change requests, issue resolution, UAT coordination, project communication, and stakeholder alignment,
  • Lead the implementation and improvements of processes and systems across multiple markets, ensuring smooth change, standardization and effectiveness,
  • Support data harmonization efforts (e.g. chart of accounts, account clearing, backlog cleanup),
  • Foster innovations and lead automation initiatives using MS Office tools (e.g., macros, pivot tables, Power BI dashboards) to improve operational efficiency.

 

Requirements for Candidate

  • Minimum 8 years in finance, ideally in R2R,
  • At least 2 years of experience in leadership role
  • University degree - preferably in Finance or Accounting,
  • Strong proficiency in  MS Office tools, including VBA, Power BI, Power Automate and global finance systems,
  • Fluent in English, Spanish and/or French is a strong advantage,
  • A go-getter mindset that allows to drive transformation,
  • Ability to lead complex projects independently — from planning to execution,
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership for assigned responsibilities and deliverables,
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation is a major plus.
